Beading Friends Forever - 1st challenge February 2013

I was very pleased to be invited to join the design team for Beading Friends Forever.  Marcea has been really good at keeping updated on progress of the new group.  It was excellent news when we heard that Bead Direct would be offering a £15 voucher as the price for the first challenge.

Here's my 'Hugs and Kisses' bracelet, I made it with pink/green crackle glass bead, jade beads and various sized seed beads.  I made with these colours for summer

This is a set I produced for the 'Anything goes' challenge, these again made with crackle glass clear/grey/black with some silver daisy spacers I bought from Walmart whilst we were in Florida last September (2012).  I'm still very new at creating jewellery and this set was a happy accident. When I purchased the beads I didn't realise how small they were but I think it turned out fine.

All the design team have been busy creating examples the 'Hugs and Kisses' bracelet and an item for the 'Anything goes' challenge for this first month.  The examples can be seen on the Beading Friends Forever blog with the tutorial for the 'Hugs and Kisses'bracelet

I really hope you'll join in the fun!  The more you get involved the more you learn and the more inspired you become.  I'm really looking forward to seeing all the variations for the first challenge and everybody will have a chance to win the £15 voucher.

Good luck & best wishes
Bev
